Interior Design

here are some samples of projects i have worked on recently. they range from large commercial to smaller store spaces. I do work in the residential space as well. please fill out a contact form if interested in having some work done in your home or business!

Multi-use commercial:

this was a large commercial build for a local church. 5,000 SQ FT. my involvement started early in this project. i was called in to look over the plans and helped redesign the existing structure into a mulit-use meeting space with a kitchen for event hosting. the plan had been made years prior and has switched hands many times before landing on my desk.

i love how this project turned out. its such an open and airy space that works as one or split into the front or back. My plan was to create a smaller more intimate space in the front and the open sanctuary/meeting room in the back two thirds.

My storefront

i rented my storefront in november of 2019 and then we all know what happened next. I spent the next 12 months designing and renovating the space with my dad, brother and various nieces and nephews.

I could not thank my family enough for the support and incredible craftsmanship. bringing my designs to life.

check out the before photos then take a trip from start to finish.

I love to talk about my brothers skills when it comes to this project. i gave him drAWINGS AND HE BROUGHT THEM TO LIFE. i’m so grateful for his willingness to help me.

i opened the shop nov. 2020 and it was a wild ride to get it all done. designing and developing a space for yourself is challenging but it was so fun.

Camp store:

i took on a passion project to renovate the camp store of a kids camp nearby. over the years the space had become outdated and in need of some love. we reused most of the larger antique items and integrated them into the plan. my personal favorite is the old post office box wall. take a look through some before shots and then see how the team and i transformed the space!

Armor Sweet Treats:

This is one of my favorite design projects to date. i mean is it possible to not have fun designing an ice cream shop? when i met kristen she was looking for a rebrand and redesign. her goal for ast was a place that would be fun, family and have some elements that would transfer to social media.

first step was to create a new logo. after a few revisions we landed on this groovy, swirly, sweet treat design.

onto the interior, we decided on bright cheery and mildly 70’s. there where elements like lighting fixtures, floor and ceiling that would not be changed. my goal was to make as much of the existing furniture and build outs work. with the help of my brother (a carpenter by trade) we built brand new benches with plexiglass inlay and refaced the counter area.

cute little chocolate display.

custom signage: this sign is so much fun, all the flavors and prices are velcro to make changing easy.

one of my favorite design features is the oversized cones, these are meant to be taken down and used for selfies! double duty being adorable and functional… wait… fun-ctional. i regret nothing with that pun.

kristen let me take the reins for the custom art in the shop and I couldn’t be happier with how it worked out. so cute.
