Room Tour

Welcome to Kayleetown,

I thought it would be fun to take you on a mini tour of my room. This is my first room tour so this should be a fun adventure!

My space is essential to my creativity and flow. I am extremely effected by my atmosphere so I love making my personal space as personal as possible. I like it to remind me of things, people and memories that I love.

I have been rearranging my bedroom since I was about 7. I remember sitting on the floor with my back to the wall and pushing my bed with my feet as hard as I could until I was stretched out laying on the floor with my hands over my head pushing off the wall. Once everything was in place I would get out my huge stack of construction paper and cut out seasonal decorations. (don't act like you aren't jealous of my 2 foot high candy corn decor) I eventually grew out of the construction paper phase but I still miss it.

I hope you enjoying a sneak peek into my personal style!

This tapestry was a gift from my father. He got it on a mission trip to Africa working with "Let them LOL" an organization that builds wells for the people of Sierra Leone. It was so cute that he thought of me and bought this "house, bird, fish" decor for me. Handmade by the women in the village.

Spinning none other than My Morning Jacket on granny's old record player.

I love this reminder. Keep the faith.

This needs to be explained. Soooo I have an 8ft glass dry erase board in my room. Why? Because I need the space to draw out my ideas and plans. This board is where I do a lot of hard thinking, scheming and dreaming. I recommend one to everyone that needs to see everything in one place!

THANK YOU FOR CHECKING OUT KAYLEETOWN!

This was fun. Now I need to go buy all sorts of new things, re-arrange and do another one of these!

Anyone looking to create their own space let me know if I can help you arrange things.
